Role Summary: Delivery Consultant, AWS Professional Services
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly skilled Delivery Consultant to join our Professional Services (ProServe) team. In this high-impact role, you will serve as a technical linchpin, working directly with enterprise customers to turn complex business goals into scalable, secure cloud realities. You aren’t just a coder; you are a trusted advisor leading the charge on cloud migrations, modernizing application architectures, and optimizing performance across the AWS ecosystem. From initial requirement gathering to the final implementation, you will drive customer success by applying industry-leading practices and emerging technologies like AI and ML.
Key Requirements & Skills

5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
-
5+ years of experience in working with enterprise customers in cloud transformation activities including building, migrating and modernizing enterprise applications

5+ years of large-scale software development or application engineering with recent coding experience in two or more of the following languages: React/ReactJS, Java/Kotlin, JavaScript, Python, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Node.js, .NET, PHP or Ruby

3+ years experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) using industry standard tooling

AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)

AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred

Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python, CDK, shell, Ruby, Powershell)

Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)

Experience with AWS services (e.g. AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), Cloud Migration Factory, Portfolio analysis tooling) and managing large scale data center to data center and/or data center to cloud migrations; data center operations (e.g. data assurance, monitoring, alerting and notifications)

Experience integrating AWS AI/ML services (SageMaker, Bedrock, Amazon Q); understanding of AI/ML governance and responsible AI practices
