About the Role

This seasonal position is designed for those who thrive in the outdoors and are committed to land stewardship. You will be on the front lines of conservation, supporting healthy human and natural communities through a variety of field-based and advocacy-oriented tasks. From protecting sensitive habitats for fish and game to facilitating community relationships that bolster local outdoor recreation like hiking, skiing, and paddling, your work will be diverse and impactful. This role is a perfect fit for a dedicated professional looking to gain hands-on experience in regional resource protection and public access management.


Compensation and Schedule

  • Compensation: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour

  • Position Type: Seasonal, Full-Time

  • Season Duration: May 18th – October 31st, 2026 (22 weeks)

  • Location: Western Maine
