Job Description

Responsible for the activation and supervision of steam boilers. Manages auxiliary machinery including compressors, turbines, pumps, and regulatory controls to produce steam essential for climate control, sterilization processes, culinary needs, and laundry operations. Regulates and upholds precise pressure and temperature standards for industrial chillers, steam and hot water heating frameworks, chilled water loops, ventilation units, and domestic water supply systems. Ensures consistent environmental comfort levels across the medical facility. Conducts routine inspections of machinery and designated zones, executes technical assessments, and documents findings in official logs for compliance and data storage. Personnel in this role must be available for mandatory overtime and emergency callback shifts as dictated by facility requirements.

WHAT IS REQUIRED:

  • Secondary school credential or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum of twenty-four (24) months of professional background in the maintenance and functioning of high-pressure boiler systems; twelve (12) months of specialized experience in the upkeep and operation of H.V.A.C. equipment.
